The Game Awards 2021 hosted by Geoff Keighley is being held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. EST. Fans all around the world can catch the show through its official website or through its live streaming on YouTube. Gamers all around the are excited for all the new game announcements, trailers, red-carpet interviews and onstage acceptance. The event will include at least two current-console-generation games that will get a lot of attention, according to Keighley.

Last year’s show featured Back 4 Blood’s debut trailer and teased the next Mass Effect and Dragon Age games. However the lineup of last year games were thin due to the dent that the COVID-19 pandemic put in development plans all year long. A lot of last year’s game announcements were content updates for existing games. This year Keighley assure viewers should see a more normal slate of announcements.

The Game Awards are also known for many celebrities and other pop culture figures doing appearance and presenting awards. Last year’s show featured A-listers like Brie Larson, Ralph Macchio, Gal Gadot, and Keanu Reeves. Well, this year Reeves returns, alongside The Matrixcomrade Carrie-Anne Moss, Alongside Shang-Chi star Simu Liu, with musical guests Sting and Imagine Dragons.
