According to the notice published by Airline Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN), the airfare is increased due to the recent increase of petroleum products from Nepal Oil Corporation. As per the spokesperson for AOAN, new airfare is determined as per the policy based on the price of aviation fuel. The revised fares will be effective from Saturday.
The airline operators have increased the fuel surcharges from the range of Rs. 10 to Rs 90. The maximum surcharge Rs 90 is for the longest route from Capital Ktm to Dhangadi. As per the revised airfare, fuel surcharge of mountain flight has reached Rs 2,300 from Rs 2,230.
